[Fixing] Kin's Illusion Duplication bug

Kin's combo Unnerving Bells+Illusion Duplication Attack has some strange miscalculations when attacking destructible defence. It's supposed to deal 35 damage in total, but...

in case of attacking Kazekage's buff (15 dd points) it deals only 20 dmg;

in case of attacking Hidans dd (10 dd points) - deals 25 dmg.

Also i tested it with 7 points of dd (partially damaged Kazekage's buff) - Kin's combo dealt 28 damage in total.

Looks like the destructible defence reduction is applying twice in some cases.

no u wrong, if is destruct deff, then even if its piercing will do less damage, if its dam red and its piercineg will go throut it...and aff goes throut all!!

In that case it doesn't matter. None of the kind damage is supposed to be piercing. I can guess that it is a bug after all. Really weird though. I really doubt they will be able to find the reason. Still I'll report it.

This is a very strange bug. Unfortunately we are unable to fix it at this point.

How is this a bug? Unless I misunderstand you Putin-Kun, you say that if you use Unnerving Bells, then Illusion Duplication in succession on an enemy, it SHOULD deal 35 damage correct?

But you say that because of the destructible defense (i.e 15 points from Kazekage Gaara) it would only deal 20? I'm sure my math skills are quite good, and if I'm not mistaken, it SHOULD only do 20 damage:

35(combo-REGULAR DAMAGE)-15 Destructible Defense= 20 damage. I don't see the problem here.

Same goes for Hidan, it should do 25 damage to him.

And for Jiroubou, if he had 45 DD it should leave him with 10.

And I think that you said that is exactly what happened, so nothing here is wrong.

So Kins combo dealt 15+5 = 20 dmg. If it worked properly, 35-15 = 20 hp would lose.

As for this, and your explanation, it's obviously a bug. I guess Kin needs to be re-coded, because I can now purposefully cause the infamous 'Negative Chakra' glitch with her, since the discovery today in school.

To (Mark/Xelian) I suggest you re-code the character, or suggest it to one of the admins (Xelian). Kin is bugged to crap now (thanks to Putin-Kun's findings). Or we can delete her :amused

OK LET ME EXPLAIN

Pierce damage = Ignore all destructible defence but it doesnt ignore damage reduction..

The bug is the skill isnt piercing and it said piercing so its just a wrong type -.- simple :nuts

Piercing damage ignore all DR but not DD. Afflictions ignore all...

take a look at the pics guys...he didn't explain properly in the description. Looks like there's a bug in the damage calculating code...the dd is subtracted from her initial damage, then applied, but then when it hits destructible defense it naturally gets subtracted from the damage yet again.
